Who is Thrive Heart and Health Yoga?
Hi, I’m Sharolyn Harry, founder and owner of Thrive Heart and Health Yoga L. L. C. I am a certified 200-hour yoga teacher, Registered with Yoga Alliance. As a lover of life, living, learning, and education, I enjoy sharing yoga with children, teens, adults, and seniors.
How did Sharolyn get into yoga?
A few years ago, I took a couple of yoga classes and found a peace that has been long-lasting; and stepping on the mat frequently, helped me find joy. Because yoga is inclusive and adaptable for my body, I did not have to be fit to practice yoga; yoga could be fitted to benefit me. Yoga and meditation are my joy and my peace, keeping me in tune with my core values, and aiding me with my love for Christ while allowing me to acknowledge and accept where I am, remember my why, and Thrive.
How can yoga benefit you?
Yoga offers so much for the body and every body deserves to be nourished and thrive. Personalizing yoga for our community by providing Gentle One on One Yoga Sessions and Small Group Sessions that are safe, nurturing, and affordable, will help you to become balanced, as we work together with the body, breath, and mind.
Did Sharolyn receive training to teach yoga?
I am trained in Hatha Yoga under the direction of Kristen Williams of K10YOGA. Through my personal yoga practice, research of yoga, and continued training and education in the areas of Adaptive, Children’s, and Senior Yoga; I have developed tools for providing practical strategies in adapting yoga for children, teens, adults, and seniors.
